Sandy DiGiacomo brings over 28 years of experience as a practicing attorney. She graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1987 before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in 1991 and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 1995. Her legal career has spanned across multiple states, holding bar admissions in California, Ohio, and Nevada, and U.S. District Court admissions in California and Ohio. In 1999, she began her career as a prosecutor at the Clark County District Attorney's Office, specializing in the Special Victims Unit, Major Violators Unit, and Domestic Violence Unit. She served as a Search & Seizure Instructor and a liaison to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Southeast Area Command. In 2022, She moved from the District Attorney’s Office to the Henderson City Attorney’s Office as a member of the Management Team. She oversees both the Investigative Unit and the Victim Advocate Unit within the Criminal Division. Her dedication to the legal profession and to victims’ rights is reflected in her extensive litigation experience. She serves as a volunteer pro bono attorney for the Children’s Attorneys Project, representing children subjected to abuse and neglect. Sandy also practiced in California and Ohio before returning to Nevada, in which she handled cases involving civil litigation, family-based immigration and children’s rights. She is a graduate of Emerge Nevada and has been actively engaged with organizations such as the Junior League of Las Vegas and Las Vegas Prom Closet.
