Veronica Barisich attended Michigan State University and was a part of James Madison College, graduating with a degree in International Relations. She received a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During her time in school, she worked for attorneys, a District Court judge, and for the Office of the Governor of Michigan. Originally from Michigan, Veronica moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2024 and began practicing law. She was a Senior Attorney with Dempsey, Roberts & Smith, practicing civil litigation, probate, guardianship, and family law. She also worked for Mandarich Law Group. Before taking the bench in 2021, She served as a judge pro tempore on small claims actions, and served on the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Committee as a mediator and arbitrator.
