Prior to being appointed to the bench, Paul M. Gaudet owned and operated a law practice in Las Vegas for 30 years that focused on family and domestic cases. He also practiced in the areas of personal injury, commercial, juvenile, and criminal law. He graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University in 1992. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. Before beginning law school, he worked for two years as an accountant/auditor.
