Kristine Brewer has lived in Las Vegas since 1973. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1996 and her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2000. A licensed attorney in Nevada since 2003, Brewer has practiced family law for over 20 years, driven by a desire to advocate for children and families. Her professional experience includes serving as a truancy diversion judge, parent coordinator, guardian ad litem, and pro bono settlement master. She co-founded the Brewer Blau Law Group and has co-authored a 2013 amicus brief presented to the Supreme Court on custody outcomes. Ms. Brewer volunteers at the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law as a judge for moot court and mock trial competitions; and, teaches public classes on divorce, custody, and guardianship. She has also presented on custody and domestic violence issues at legal conferences.
