Kim Wanker has practiced law for over 25 years. She is the first rural female District Judge in Nevada. She was raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska, and the University Of Nebraska-College Of Law. During college, she worked as a Page and as a Legislative Research Intern for the Nebraska Legislature, and was selected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Kim also graduated with distinction from the University Of Nebraska-College Of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Nevada, Colorado, and Arizona. She is also licensed and has practiced law before the United States District Court in the states of Nevada and Colorado, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. She recently was invited to join the Board of Directors for the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Pahrump.
