- I am running to make our courts more effective and efficient for everyone.This candidate has not submitted a statement.
Jessica Goodey currently presides over a civil calendar. She also serves on the Executive Committee for the Las Vegas Justice Court, as well as the Vice President of the statewide limited jurisdiction judge organization (NJLJ) and Secretary of the international association of judges, American Judges Association. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2010, where she practiced primarily complex civil litigation. She served on the State Bar of Nevada's Board of Governors from 2018-2020, as well as an Alternate Judge for the Las Vegas Municipal Court from 2019 until taking the bench in 2023. During her years as an attorney, she was recognized by her peers as a "Super Lawyers Rising Star," "Legal Elite" in Nevada Business Magazine, and the AV-Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, representing the highest level of professional excellence.
