Ben Trotter has over 700 hours of judicial education. He was awarded Distinguished Achievement in Judicial Education by NV Supreme Court in 2023, Advanced Achievement in Judicial Education by NV Supreme Court in 2022, a Certificate of Judicial Development in Special Court Trial Skills from the National Judicial College in 2022, a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Finance, an Associate of Applied Science in Police Science, an Associate of Arts in General Studies, and Nevada Peace Officers Standards and Training Executive Certificate. He also is an FBI National Academy graduate, Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command graduate, and Rural Executive Management Institute graduate.
